The first thing we are going to be looking at is the features. Both of these tools have some really great features. Let’s start with Rytr.

We also have an option to create our own use cases. There is also an option to choose the desired tone.

So, as for the short-form content generation, both of these tools are quite similar. They both have a wide range of use cases.
The only significant difference I have noticed is in the number of outputs. Rytr lets you generate 3 outputs while Jasper lets you generate 10.
Now, let’s look at the long-form content generation.

Now, let’s move on to the long-form content generation.
When it comes to generating long-form content, Jasper definitely has the upper hand.
Why?
Because its long-form assistant is very powerful.
I have tried writing long-form articles and blog posts using both these tools in the past and I must say that it is much easier to do it with Jasper.
Don’t get me wrong.
Rytr too can produce long-form content, but I find Jasper to be more user friendly. And Jasper can do it much faster than Rytr when it comes to writing full-length articles.
Jasper and Rytr both have command features that allow you to pass your request as a command and let the AI do the work for you. But Jasper’s command feature appears to be more powerful than Rytr’s.
Another thing Jasper has that Rytr lacks is the content look back.
What this means. is that Jasper reads your past 3,000 characters every time before writing for better context. As far as I know, this feature is lacking in Rytr.
With the recent addition of the ‘continue writing option’ inside Rytr, it is slowly catching up. But it still has a long way to go.
Verdict for Long Form Content
So, when it comes to long-form content generation, Jasper is the clear winner.
The Content Quality
Now, let’s look at the content quality.
What I have noticed is that both these AI writers produce really high-quality content. As far as the quality goes it is a tie. There’s nothing much to differentiate between the two.
Quantity
But if you are looking for the quantity it is again a different story. Jasper can create much more content than Rytr in the same amount of time, thanks to the features like the ‘Compose’ button inside the long-form assistant.
Few Other Differences Between Jasper and Rytr
There are a few other differences between these two AI content generation tools that I have noticed.
Jasper Recipes
One of the main differences I found when doing this Jasper Vs Rytr showdown is the ‘Recipes’ feature inside Jasper. Rytr doesn’t have this feature.
Recipes are like pre-made templates with repeatable instructions for Jasper to follow.
They can help you write different types of long-form content like sales letters, product review articles and more, very quickly.
Community
There is also a strong and active community and an excellent support team in Jasper. Rytr too has a support team, but it is nothing to brag about.
Rytr Vs Jasper – Pricing
Lastly, let’s talk about pricing.
Both these tools have different pricing plans. Rytr has a much more affordable pricing plan as compared to Jasper.
I pay around $220 per year to get unlimited access to Rytr. But that’s not the case with Jasper.
The plan I am on, which is the ‘Unlimited Boss Mode plan’ requires me to pay $119 per month for unlimited access to Jasper.
There are of course lower pricing options at $29 per month for 20,000 words and $59 per month for up to 50,000-word generation credits each month.
Recently, Jasper has removed its ‘unlimited plan’ for new subscribers.
So as for the pricing, Jasper is really expensive compared to Rytr.
