How to Write a Blog Post Using Rytr?

Let me log inside my Rytr account.

The first thing you notice is how clean and neat the interface looks. Rytr has one of the best user interfaces when it comes to AI writing assistants.

Let’s get started by creating a new document for this demo. To do that, let’s click on this button on the top right corner of the dashboard. Enter the document name and click on ‘create’.

For this demo, I am going to create a blog post about ‘Weight loss tips for women’.

Now here, on the left side, you have access to more than 30 use cases and templates that you can use for different writing needs.

As you can see there’s a blog idea and outline generator, blog section writing template, business idea pitch, different copywriting frameworks and more.

There’s also the ‘Magic command’ feature that allows you to pass our request as a ‘command’ and let AI do the work for you. 

For example, if I want to generate a blog introduction paragraph about a certain topic, I can just write it as a command inside this box on the left side and hit enter, and Rytr will then generate the paragraph for me.

As simple as that.

Then there are these different ‘tones of voice’ available inside Rytr, which help give a personality to your writings.

The one I like is the ‘Convincing’ tone.

Now let’s see how to create an article using all these modules inside Rytr. (Watch the video below to find out how exactly it is done).

To get started, I am going to choose the ‘Blog Idea and Outline’ template. As the name suggests, this module is used to generate a blog outline and ideas for the given keyword.

We can generate up to 3 results at a time. I am going to enter my primary keyword here and click ‘Write for Me’.

As soon as I hit enter, Rytr generated the outline for me, as you can see here. There are some really great ideas for my blog post which took hardly a minute for me to generate.

If you look at the outline, it is quite detailed with headings, subheadings and relevant keywords.

This would have taken me hours if I wanted to do it manually.

If I don’t like the outline Rytr generated for me, I can generate a few more.

Now, I am going to edit my blog outline and keep only the ones I want to use in my blog post.

I could go ahead and edit the headings, subheadings, delete some parts or add more as needed.

After we’re done with the outline, it’s time to start writing our article.

There are two ways to generate content inside Rytr.

The first way is to choose the headline, subheadline or the sentence about which we want to write content, then click on ‘Paragraph’. Rytr will then generate relevant content for us in a matter of a few seconds.

We also have the option to expand, append, improve, and shorten the chosen content. There is also a ‘rephrase’ option and an inbuilt ‘plagiarism checker’.

Now let’s look at the 2nd option to generate content which is to use the content generation module on the left side.

This is my favourite one.

That’s because here I get to choose the tone of voice for the content and the number of outputs.

I can also switch between different use-cases with a click of a button.

Now, to write the intro paragraph for the blog post, I can either choose one of the marketing frameworks available inside Rytr or use the magic command feature.

I am going to use ‘Magic Command’.

I will enter a command and generate 3 variations.

The command I am going to use is, “Write a blog introduction about {Weight Loss Tips for Women}”.

As you can see, Rytr generated 3 outputs. I am going to mix and match these results and use them for my blog post.

Once that’s done, it is time to write about the subheadings.

To do that, I will choose the ‘Blog Section Writing’ module and enter the section topic. I can also include the relevant keywords about which I want Rytr to generate content.

I am going to leave this blank.

Choose the number of outputs and click ‘Write for me’.

The results will be generated at my cursor position.

Similarly, I can write an entire blog post within a matter of a few minutes which otherwise would have taken me hours.

As you can see I have already written more than a thousand words.

But please remember that we need to fact check the content generated by AI tools. They are copywriting tools, not the research assistants.

Following a similar writing process, we can create persuasive emails, video scripts and even stories and songs.
