Now let’s see how to create a video with the Doodle Maker. To begin the video creation process, let’s log in first. The dashboard looks like this.

Let’s click on the ‘Create Project’ button to get started. There are three ways to create a video using the Doodle Maker.

We can use a ready-made template and then customize it or start video creation from scratch or use the AI video translation engine to translate old videos into a different language.

With the AI video translation engine, we can also pull our YouTube videos into the Doodle Maker interface and then create a doodle video from that. For this example, let’s create a video from scratch.

To get started, we just need to click on the ‘start from scratch’ button. The next page will look like this.

We need to give our project a name. We have named this the ‘Test Project’. In the ‘slide 1’ section will go the text for our first slide. We can just copy and paste the text into this section or type it here. Similarly, we can add more slides to the video by using the ‘Add a New Slide’ button on the right side.

Also, as you can see in the image above, there is a settings section on the right lower corner. The settings section looks like this.

From the settings section, we can select a background soundtrack for our video. You can choose from the number of royalty-free soundtracks inbuilt inside the Doodle Maker software. You can also choose the speech-language for this video. Based on this selection, the Text To Speech voice-over will be generated for your video.

There is also an option to choose your desired video background type. You can choose from whiteboard, blackboard, glass board, custom colour, and custom image backgrounds.

A few more things you can customize are the ‘icon type’ and the ‘hand style’.

You can choose how the icons appear on your video. You can choose a black icon, mixed icons or coloured ones. Similarly, you have different hand options. There are both male and female hands. You can choose the one that appeals to you.

To move forward, we need to finish all these customization options, add all the slides and then click on the ‘Save’ button.

On the next page, the Doodle Maker software automatically selects icons for us based on our text input, as shown above. However, it is always a better idea to add elements manually.

Now, on the top side, you can see the numbers 1 to 8. They are nothing but the number of slides we have for this video. Right now, we are editing the 1st slide and that’s why the number 1 is highlighted.

On the right side, you have the option to choose the TTS voice you like. As you can see, you also have the option to upload your own voice-track or record a voice-over on the software itself.

You can also edit the text for the slide here. We also have the options to add watermark. We can add images and icons to the slide, from the library section.
