StartUp Theme Review, Features, and The Pricing

The startup theme by MyThemeShop is a premium WordPress theme dedicated to entrepreneurs. If you are looking for a beautiful WordPress theme that is blazingly fast and has a ton of features StartUp theme by MTS can be a great choice.

It is a new WordPress theme that was launched recently, in September 2019. In this detailed StartUp theme review, I will introduce you to all the awesome features it has. We will also look for negatives if any. 

I am sure by the end of reading this article you would have made an informed decision about whether to buy this theme or not.

Here’s the proof to show you that I have tried the theme on my blog before writing this StartUp theme review.

StartUp Theme Features

Excellent Speed

This theme does have excellent speeds. I may not call this the fastest theme available on the net. But my web site load speeds were lower than 1-1.5 seconds consistently when checked from different server locations.

Don’t forget that the website I tested is hosted on shared hosting. So it is a fast loading WordPress theme.

Elementor Page Builder Integration

I know that many people nowadays like to use page builders to create blogs and websites. And elementor is arguably the most popular page builder plugin out there. It is available in both free and premium versions.

I personally am not a great fan of page builder plugins but if you are, then the StartUp theme is a great choice for your blog/website. This theme has an inbuilt elementor integration which can help you design a perfect website on the go.

Beautiful Typography

One of the reasons I love MyThemeShop themes is the availability of integrated beautiful typography options and the ease with which I can customize the same. That’s the reason why the Schema theme is still one of my all-time favorite WordPress themes.

In the StartUp theme too, you have a wide range of Typography options to choose from. We can easily customize the blog/website’s fonts with the help of settings available in the famous ‘options panel’.

Featured Area

The StartUp theme has a featured area that can be used to collect leads or sell your products and services. This is a great feature to have in a WordPress theme, according to me.

I may use this feature to direct website visitors to my landing page and build the email list.

Design

The StartUp is a modern WP theme that has been uniquely designed keeping the startup blogs and websites in mind. That doesn’t mean that you can’t use this theme on other kinds of blogs and websites.

I noticed that the design is really futuristic and bold. This theme is a visual feast and has perfect fonts to go with its modern design.

Fluid Responsiveness

Most themes nowadays are responsive and the StartUp theme is no different. It looks good on every device you can imagine.

HomePage Layout Designs

This is one of my favorite features of the StartUp theme. There is a total of 10 homepage layouts, to choose from.

You can use these different HomePage layouts to split test your audience and then choose the design that converts the best.

Call To Actions

As this theme is built keeping the entrepreneurs in mind, the designers have given a lot of options to insert our own call to actions on the home page and the header area.

There is a ‘navigation button’ which can be used for this purpose. There is also a provision to use the ‘top bar’ feature that can be used to insert our ‘call to action’ text.

These were the main features of StartUp theme which I liked the most. As I told you earlier, the theme is feature-packed. Here’s a list of all the features that are included in this theme.

SEO Optimization Feature

The built-in SEO features in the theme help ease your SEO efforts.

Adsense Optimized

If you are planning to monetize your blog with Google Adsense, the StartUp theme has got you covered. You have access to optimized ad-slots in this theme which can be used to place non-intrusive ads and make money quickly.

There are also dedicated ad management options in the theme which may help grow your ad revenue significantly.

AdBlocker Detector

This theme also has an integrated adblocker detector that alerts your users about the possible ad blocker on their browsers blocking your ads and requests them to turn it off.

Social Sharing Buttons

I have been using third-party plugins for inserting beautiful social share plugins on my various blogs.

But that won’t be a problem with the StartUp theme as it has inbuilt social share buttons that are beautiful and have extensive customization options.

FontAwesome Icons

We can make our content, landing pages, and even our website menu stand out by using the extensive FontAwesome icon library included with the theme.

StartUp Theme Price and License

During the launch, the StartUp theme is available at $19 for use on a single site. I assume the price will be $35 per single site after the launch is over. This includes one year update and lifetime usage license.

If you want to continue getting updates after one year, you will have to renew your license at the purchase price. This is what I have understood by being one of their long-time customers.

StartUp Theme Review Verdict

Are There Any Negatives?

I personally didn’t find any definite negative points about the StartUp theme. However, there was one small area that slightly bothered me.

It was the header area above the single posts and pages. I couldn’t find any options to customize the same. That’s not a major problem anyhow.

Apart from that, everything else was fantastic. Considering the low price, this theme can really be a steal.

I personally feel that buying this theme can be a great investment for you if you are still using a free theme.

It is excellent for entrepreneurial websites as well as personal blogs. It is easy to manage and is also fast.
