Now, let’s continue this Flexclip review and find out how to easily create a video using this video maker software.
How To Create a Video Using Flexclip?
Creating videos with Flexclip is a simple process. You can create an amazing video in just 3 simple steps.
1. Add Media to Your Project
You can add videos or photos from your personal collection on the computer or from stock libraries inside your Flexclip account, to the storyboard or the timeline editor.
2. Customize your video
You can customize the video to your liking by adding text, music, voice-overs, animated overlays, emojis etc.
3. Export the video
Once your video is ready, you can export it in different resolutions.
Video Creation Process
Now let’s follow these steps and create a video in Flexclip.
We have access to ‘Flexclip Business‘, which is their highest level plan. So some of the features you see here may not be available in the free plan. Please keep that in mind.
This is the first time we are logging into the Flexclip interface. Let’s see how it looks.
Once we log inside, we are greeted by a slick dashboard. Everything appears to be well organised and easy to navigate. On the top of the dashboard, we can see our ‘current projects’ which right now is zero.
We can have 1000 projects running at a time, in the Flexclip Business plan. We believe you can have a maximum of 12 projects in the Flexclip Free plan.
Now, below the ‘My Projects’ section, we can see all the readymade templates available for use.
All of these templates have been arranged category wise. Some of the popular template categories in Flexclip are business, social media, travel, lifestyle, wedding, education, slideshow and more.
On the left side, there is an option to start creating videos using the templates available inside Flexclip. There is also an option to create a video from scratch. Then there are navigation buttons using which you can access all your projects and the stock video library.
For this Flexclip demo, let’s create a video from one of the existing templates. Now, to create a video we need to click on the ‘Create by Templates’ button on the left top corner of the dashboard.
On the next page, we can see all of the templates available inside Flexclip. Let’s choose the ‘Business’ category and search for a template for our first Flexclip video.
We can just hover the cursor over each template to have a look at the preview. You can also click the ‘preview’ button to watch it. To choose the template just click on the ‘customize’ button.
Now on the next page, the Flexclip video editor interface will open up. This has the video in the centre and the timeline editor below.
To edit the text, we just need to double click on the text element. A new window will open up where we can enter the desired text.
Similarly, if we want to change the positioning of the text overlay on the video, all we need to do is drag and drop it to the place where we want that text to be positioned.
Adding Elements
You can also add extra elements to the video, like the text overlays, simple text, dynamic text, widgets, logos, intro and outro.
To do that, we need to click on the element we want to add and then drag and drop it onto the video canvas. All these elements are situated on the left side panel of the video canvas.
In the same manner, we can change the background music of the video. Also, if you are on the Flexclip business plan there will be an option to add a watermark to your video either in the text or in the image format.
Other Customization Options
There are several other customization options that can be accessed from the upper and lower panels of the video. Here is what you can do using these customizations.
Volume Control
With this feature, you can increase or decrease the volume of the video. You also have the option to ‘mute’ it entirely.
Zoom

Finally, you can rearrange the slides by simple drag and drop on the storyboard timeline.
All the features mentioned above can also be accessed from the storyboard itself.
Export
To export the video, click the ‘Export Video’ button on the top right corner. The video can be exported in 480p, 720p and 1080p resolutions. However, in the basic plan, you can export videos only in 480p and 720p resolutions.
