In this article, we are going to show you how to leverage the power of YouTube using videos created with Vidnami to promote affiliate products. The process involved is quite simple. Here’s what you need to do.

• You need to choose a niche
• Create a YouTube channel
• Produce videos based on different keywords in that niche
• and include your affiliate links in the description of your YouTube video.

Whenever a person comes to your video, watches it, clicks on the link in your YouTube description and makes a purchase, you earn an affiliate commission. This is how the whole affiliate marketing model works on YouTube.

An important thing to remember here is that to make a visitor click on your affiliate link and buy the product you are promoting, your video needs to be full of value and useful tips.

Choosing Your YouTube Niche

You need to start your journey by choosing a niche for your YouTube channel. A niche is a subset of a huge market or an industry. For example, if ‘weight loss’ is considered an industry, ‘weight loss for women under 40’ can be considered a niche.

Similarly, you need to choose a niche for your YouTube channel. It can be anything. Sports, fashion, hobbies, business, entertainment etc. We personally have YouTube channels in the business, marketing and spirituality niches.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with new ideas. You can always start a new YouTube channel if the first one doesn’t work. After all, it is free!

Starting a YouTube Channel

Here, we are not going to show you how to start a YouTube channel. Most people already know how to start a YouTube channel or already have one.

Choose The Affiliate Product to Promote

Affiliate marketing is the business model where you can earn money promoting and selling other people’s products and services online. But where do you find these products to promote and earn affiliate commissions?

The answer is, at affiliate marketplaces. And ClickBank is one such marketplace. ClickBank is an online marketplace that provides a transparent platform for product vendors and affiliate marketers to sell and promote digital and physical products on the internet.

Inside ClickBank, affiliate products have been arranged under different categories. This can be a great place for you to start your niche and product research.

For this example, we are going to promote a ‘diet and weight loss’ product under the ‘Health & Fitness’ category inside ClickBank. Here, the diet and wellness sub-category is going to be our YouTube niche. Similarly, you need to choose a niche for your YouTube channel.

Even though it is not compulsory to have a specific topic or theme for your YouTube channel, having one always helps rank your videos faster on YouTube, and also helps to grow your audience. So it is always a better idea to stick with a specific topic or niche rather than being all around the place.

Now, we are going to choose a product that has a good ‘gravity score’ and has an ‘average $/conversion’ of at least 30 or above. We are going to need a product that has a good affiliate resources section.

We are going to use the articles in the resources section to create videos using Vidnami and then publish it on YouTube.

Gravity score is a ClickBank generated performance rating that indicates the number of affiliates that have successfully promoted a particular product. Average $/conversion represents the average commission percentage paid out to affiliates for the initial sale.

In the picture above, you can see that the products are listed under the ‘diet and weight loss’ category, based on the rank.

Based on all the selection criteria we mentioned earlier, the product we chose is ‘custom keto diet’. It has a gravity score of 426.97 and pays an average $ of $45.88 per conversion. Best of all, it has a great affiliate resources section.

As you can see, they have taken extra care to provide affiliates with all the necessary promotional tools and some more. There are videos we can use, there are lead magnets we can give away, there are articles we can edit and publish and there are emails swipes and banners. For this demonstration, we will just use the articles. We will take these articles, edit them and produce videos from these articles using Vidnami.

We just need to download these articles to our desktop to use them.

We are going to create a video targeting the keyword ‘weight loss mistakes’. At the end of the video we are going to include a call to action, asking the viewer to check out the weight loss program we recommend, which in this case is the ‘custom keto diet’.

Creating Video From The Article

To create a video from the article we have, we need to log in to the Vidnami app. The first thing we see when we enter the Vidnami member’s area are all the videos we created earlier.

Our past video projects are stored on the Vidnami cloud and can be accessed from the member’s area whenever we want.

Just click on the ‘create a new video’ button to get started.

On the next step, you can choose the template that suits best for your needs. There are a variety of templates available inside Vidnami for different marketing needs.

They have sales video templates, online training templates, influencer video templates, instant ad templates, property video templates and more. The one we need for this demo is the content video template.

We will just select that and move on to the next step, which is the ‘script’ section.

This is where we need to either paste our article or write it inside the editor. Once the script is ready, we need to click on the ‘Edit Scenes’ button to continue.

Once we click on ‘edit scene’, the inbuilt AI engine gets into action and starts preparing the scenes, based on the text we entered in the script section.

Vidnami automatically selects royalty-free images and video for these slides. The media files selected are not random either. They are carefully chosen based on the text input.

Meaning, if one of the sentences in our script says ‘for losing weight and being in shape you must follow a good diet’, the Vidnami AI may choose media files based on the words weight loss or diet.

Also, if we aren’t satisfied with Vidnami’s choice, we can always edit each scene and choose the media we want. We can also upload our own video and image to the video.

Once we finish adding and editing scenes, it is time to add music to the video. You get access to thousands of royalty-free soundtracks from inside Vidnami.

We can also add voice-overs to these videos. We can either upload our own voice-over files or use the inbuilt text to speech engine to generate voice-overs for our videos. There is also an option to record our own voice from inside Vidnami dashboard.

For this video, we generated the voice-over using the inbuilt TTS engine. Finally, we just need to preview the video and publish it.

Once published, the video can be exported to our device. Here’s the video we created.

Uploading to YouTube

Once the video is ready, the next step is to upload the video to the YouTube channel we created earlier and publish it. We are going to include our affiliate link in the description area of the video.

Whenever a person who watches our video clicks on the affiliate link and purchases the custom keto diet product, we earn a commission.

Here’s an example from a random YouTube video. The video talks about the uses of Ashwagandha. The owners of the video are promoting the Ashwagandha extract which they personally use. And the link you see in the description (image below) is the affiliate link.

Rinsing and Repeating

To find success with this method, we just need to rinse and repeat the same technique over and over again. Find a keyword, create a video using Vidnami, publish it on YouTube and promote the link in the description area.
