Welcome to the Clickbank review. If you are an absolute beginner who wants to get started with affiliate marketing, there is no better place to get started than ClickBank. ClickBank is an online affiliate marketplace which provides a transparent platform for vendors and affiliate marketers to sell and promote digital products on the internet.
Is ClickBank Legit?
Before getting started with any affiliate program it is of utmost importance to verify the genuineness of the program. What is the use of promoting a product and making a sale if you are not getting paid in the end? Right. But in the case of the ClickBank affiliate program, there’s nothing to worry about.
ClickBank is a GENUINE affiliate marketing program and I myself am using it regularly to earn affiliate commissions online. Below is a screenshot of the first affiliate commission I earned online promoting a digital product on ClickBank, that wasn’t from the internet marketing niche.
Do I Need to Pay a Fee to Get Started as an Affiliate on ClickBank?
Absolutely not. You don’t have to pay a dime to get started as an affiliate marketer on ClickBank.
How to Get Started on Clickbank as an Affiliate? The Step By Step Process

On the next screen, you will be asked to enter your personal information. If you skip a required field the box will turn red and you will not be able to continue until all fields are completed.
Click next step at the bottom of the screen to continue your signup. On this page, you will be asked to enter the payee name for your account. If you have an established business and would like payments to be issued to your company, please enter your business name here.
Next please enter your primary bank and the country where it is located. This information is not used for sending payments and will not be transferred to your account which is why ClickBank doesn’t ask for your account number and bank routing information at this stage.
If you wish to receive payments directly to your bank you can set this up after the account is created. If you entered the U.S. as your country, you will also be asked to enter your tax ID number.
If you have a business, this will be your IRS issued EIN. If not, you need to enter your social security number. If you do not wish to enter your social security number, you can request an EIN from the IRS. Whichever you decide to use, it must match the payee name.
For example, if you are using your business EIN you must enter the business as the payee.
Next, you must read the client contract and agree to ClickBank’s terms by checking the box. You will not be able to check this box until you have reached the end of the contract. Click the I am not a robot box and move to the next step.
At this point, you will be asked to enter your nickname.
This is your account ID and is visible to other clients and to the public. So you want to avoid using something too personal. The nickname can be between five and ten characters and can only include lowercase letters and numbers.
Next, you need to create a password.
The password must meet all of the criteria on the screen. This includes two lowercase letters, two uppercase letters, two numbers, and two symbols. Once you have created the account you will be redirected to the client survey at this point your account is fully functional and ready to use.
