Text To Video Converter: How To Turn Articles Into Videos Fast?

Are you searching for a good text to video converter? Do you want to turn your existing blog posts and articles into videos? If yes, in this article I am going to show you just that.

I will show you how you can turn any article, blog post, page or any other written content for that matter, into professional-looking videos in minutes. We are going to need an application (software) to convert text into video.

The video application I regularly use for converting articles into videos is called the ‘content samurai’. You can read our complete content samurai review if you don’t know what it is or how to use it.

How To Convert Text Into Video Step By Step

To get started you will need to have at least the free account on the content samurai app. You can get a free 14 day trial from here if you want one.

Now, to start the text to video conversion process, open the content samurai application.

Click on the ‘create a new video’ button.

Choosing The Video Template

Now we are in the ‘Templates’ section.

There are more than a hundred video templates divided into 7-8 categories.

For this example, I will choose ‘videos from a blog post’ category and from there I will choose the ‘corporate blue’ template.

Adding Text

Now, in the next stage, we have to enter the text that we want to convert into a video. All we need to do is copy and paste the article or blog post that we already have.

We can also directly write into the Content Samurai editor itself, but there is no way to save the article as a draft. So it is always better to write the article beforehand.

Once the article has been inserted into the ‘script’ section, click on the ‘create scenes’ button.

Creating Slides Or Video Scenes

Now, this is where the MAGIC happens!

Once we click the ‘Create Scenes’ button, the Content Samurai software gets into action and starts creating slides for the video. Each of these slides consists of media (either video or image) and a sentence that has been taken from the text we added earlier.

The media is selected in such a way that it matches the ‘TEXT’ on the slide.

For example, if our text reads ‘ Blogging is a great way to make money online’, the slide may have a video or an image of someone blogging or holding money in hands or something similar to that.

I am sure you got my point here.

Each element on the slide can be edited. We can even change the ‘media’ if we don’t like what the software has automatically chosen.

With the content samurai video application, we also get free access to the ‘STORYBLOCKS’ media library which otherwise may cost $65 per month when paid monthly and $29 per month when paid annually.

The software also gives us access to thousands of royalty-free stock images and videos on various other platforms.

Adding Sound To The Video

Once we finish adjusting all the slides, it is time to ‘ADD SOUND” to the video we create from the text.

We can either choose to add only background music or to add voice overs. There is also another option to add ‘Auto Voice’ that allows you to add automatic computer-generated voice to your slides. Surprisingly, most of these voices were almost human-like, especially Heidi and Harry

After selecting the background music and/or voice over for our video it is time to ‘preview the video’.

In this stage, we can choose to adjust the timing of each slide manually. However, I have never felt the need to do that until now. Also, you can change the background music for the video, if you want. Also, we can add a watermark to the video at this stage.

Generate Video From Text

And that’s about it.

Once everything is how we want it to be, it is time to generate the video from the text we inserted earlier.

To do that, go to the ‘download’ section on the left side tab of the Content Samurai interface and click on the ‘Generate Video’ button.

generate video

It may take a few minutes to generate the video, depending on the length of the article and the number of slides.

Once the video is generated, you can download it on your device and use it wherever you want. If there are creative commons media used in the video, the software will automatically generate a link and the text, which needs to be used in the description whenever you publish the video on social media video sharing sites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

And that’s how to convert text to video, quickly.

There are a number of ‘text to video converter tools’ out there. But Content Samurai is my favorite one.

I am sure you are going to like it too.
